• First, connect your phone to a PC with a USB cable that can transfer files. Turn your phone on and unlock it. Your PC can't find the device if the device is locked. To copy files from Android to PC, follow these steps.

1. Download and install Droid Transfer on your PC (link below)
2. Download and run the Transfer Companion App on your Android phone
3. Connect to your Android Device using the steps shown in our Start Guide
4. Click Files in the features listed in Droid Transfer
   
5. Select the files and folders you want to copy in the Droid Transfer file browser
6. Click 'Copy to PC' and select where on your PC you want to save these files
